Black Magic Removal Specialist in Sheffield - Kamakhya Astrologer
If you are based in Sheffield and have been going through a long stretch of unexplained problems - repeated setbacks in work, sudden loss of peace at home, or a feeling that things keep falling apart for no clear reason - Vedic astrology may offer a structured way to understand what is happening. I am Pandit Ravi Bhargav Ji, the principal astrologer at Kamakhya Astrologer, and I have been studying and practising Jyotish Shastra for over 20 years. A significant part of what I do involves analysing horoscopes where planetary placements point toward external negative influences, a concept known in Vedic tradition as Abhichara or Kala Jadu. This article explains what Abhichara means in Vedic astrology, how it shows up in a birth chart, what the classical remedies involve, and how I work with clients across Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire region. What is Abhichara in Vedic Astrology?
In Vedic astrology, the term Abhichara refers to the practice of directing negative intentions toward another person through occult means. It is documented in classical texts and is treated as a distinct area of astrological study, separate from everyday planetary afflictions. It is important to be clear here - not every run of bad luck is Abhichara, and not every difficult chart is a sign of external interference. In most cases, what people experience is the result of challenging planetary periods, Mahadasha and Antardasha cycles, or natural karmic lessons visible in the natal chart. Identifying the difference between planetary difficulty and external negative influence requires a careful, systematic reading of the horoscope - not a quick assumption. At Kamakhya Astrologer, I always begin with the full chart before drawing any conclusion. How Vedic Astrology Identifies External Negative Influence in a Horoscope
In classical Jyotish, there are specific indicators that a trained astrologer looks for when the question of Abhichara is raised. Some of the key areas I examine include:- The Badhakesh (Badhaka Lord): Every Lagna has a Badhaka Sthana - a house that represents obstacles. The lord of that house, the Badhakesh, when placed unfavourably and connected with the 6th, 8th, or 12th houses, can indicate external interference in a native's life.
- Rahu and Ketu placements: Rahu, one of the two lunar nodes (Chaya Grahas), is associated with illusion, confusion, and hidden forces. When Rahu is negatively placed - particularly in the 6th, 8th, or 12th house - or during a difficult Rahu Mahadasha, a person may face unexplained disruptions that are worth examining more closely.
- Saturn's position: Shani (Saturn) when placed in the 6th, 8th, or 12th house in a chart can, under certain conditions and in combination with other afflictions, reflect susceptibility to external negative energy.
- Mandi and Gulika: These are sub-planets recognised in traditional Vedic astrology. Mercury when combined with Mandi or Gulika and aspected by Mars in the Badhaka Sthana is a specific classical indicator linked to Abhichara.
- The overall chart theme vs lived experience: If a birth chart indicates broadly positive outcomes in a given period but the person is consistently suffering, that gap between what the planets suggest and what is actually happening is itself a meaningful signal I take seriously.
Common Patterns People in Sheffield Describe
When Sheffield-based clients come to me - whether from Hillsborough, Handsworth, Woodseats, or further across South Yorkshire - they often describe experiences that have no obvious explanation. These tend to fall into patterns:- Repeated failures despite genuine effort in business or career
- Sudden deterioration in close relationships without any identifiable cause
- Unexplained fatigue or a persistent sense of heaviness
- Recurring nightmares or disturbed sleep
- A feeling that progress is blocked no matter what step they take
The Vedic Remedial Process - What It Involves
When the chart does indicate that specific remedial work is appropriate, I draw on a range of classical Vedic methods. These are rooted in the Agama Shastra and Tantra traditions and are distinct from general planetary remedies.Puja and Havan:
Specific rituals are performed to appease the relevant Devatas. For cases linked to Rahu or Saturn afflictions, Shri Kaal Bhairav Puja is often indicated. Where the issue relates to Chandi Shakti or requires Devi Upasana, Shri Durga Saptashati Paath or Shri Chandi Paath is performed. These are structured rituals, not informal ceremonies.Mantra Japa:
Depending on the chart, I prescribe specific mantras for the client to recite regularly. For Rahu afflictions, the Rahu Beej Mantra - "Om Bhram Bhreem Bhroum Sah Rahave Namah" - is commonly used. For Saturn, the Shani Mantra is recited on Saturdays. The number of repetitions and duration follow classical guidelines.Kavach and Yantra:
In some cases, wearing a Kavach (a protective amulet) or installing a specific Yantra at home is recommended based on the chart. These are given only where the horoscope supports their use.Maa Baglamukhi Upasana:
For cases of Abhichara specifically, Maa Baglamukhi - one of the Dus Mahavidya - is particularly significant. The Valga Stotram and associated rituals under this tradition are classical tools for addressing external negative influence. How I Work With Clients at Kamakhya Astrologer
When someone reaches out to me - whether they are in Sheffield city centre or elsewhere in the UK - the process follows a clear structure.- First, I take the full birth details: date, time, and place of birth. Without these, meaningful horoscope analysis is not possible, and I will not offer general statements in place of actual chart work.
- Second, I prepare a detailed reading of the Janam Kundali. I examine the Lagna, Navamsha, Dashamsha, and the relevant Dasha periods active at the time of the consultation. I look at the Badhakesh, the positions of Rahu, Ketu, Saturn, and Mars, and their relationships with the 6th, 8th, and 12th houses.
- Third, I explain what I find. This includes both the planetary picture and whether the chart raises any indicators worth addressing through specific remedies. I do not recommend remedies that the horoscope does not support.
- Fourth, where remedies are appropriate, I walk the person through what is involved - whether that is Puja, mantra practice, a Kavach, or other classical measures. I also explain the timeline and what the person can reasonably expect in terms of the astrological process.
Why People Across Sheffield Choose Kamakhya Astrologer

I understand this context well, and I approach every case with that understanding. What sets my practice apart is not a list of promises - it is the seriousness with which I approach the chart. Over more than 20 years, I have worked with clients across the UK and I have built a practice around honesty about what astrology can and cannot tell you. I do not make sweeping claims. I work from the chart. I explain my reasoning. And I only recommend remedies that are appropriate to what the horoscope actually shows.
